The years between then and now are but a blip on the screen in the history of the world, much like the single income earning household that existed from the 50's to the 70's. One way or another, we are going to be returned to the natural state of things as they existed prior to WWI. Now that the "bug" of ending all social programs has been introduced into the ear of the average American voter the game is over. The gig is up. Since the days of Reagan they have been able to convince people that the only thing preventing them from becoming millionaires is the government. Yep, the lowest income earners in our country think that they would be millionaires if only they didn't have to pay taxes to the leaches on welfare. It's a done deal.
