2. found an easy sew up pattern! Woohoo.
Warmth Punk Style:
It seems like I'm cold all year long, but especially in the fall when the weather has cooled but there are still air conditioners on everywhere. I love fingerless gloves (armwarmers or gauntlets) to keep my arms and hands a little warmer when the temperature inside and outside don't match.

These punk-inspired warmers are completely simple because they're knit flat and sewn up, so you can leave as much room as you need for your thumb.

Instructions:
1.Cast on 30 stitches (35 for larger size).
2.Knit in knit one, purl one ribbing for four rows.
3.Knit in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) until piece measures 5.5 inches from beginning.
4.Knit in knit one, purl one ribbing for four more rows.
5.Bind off in pattern. Cut yarn, leaving a tail to sew with.
6.Sew the ribbing together and a few rows at the top of your warmer, and up from the bottom until the hole left fits your thumb comfortably. I used mattress stitch.
7.Weave in ends.
