Just heard: DEMOCRAT ahead of REPUBLICAN in WA Govenors race |
|
Just heard on news that only 13 votes separates the 2 candidates.
The Democrat, Christine Gregoire is ahead of GOP Dino Rossi. Because the vote is so close, THERE WILL BE A HAND RECOUNT OF ALL THE VOTES.

Any election with a difference of less than 2000 votes gets an automatic recount

15. The hand recount is MANDATED by Washington State Law |
|
It doesn't matter who is ahead. I can't remember the % but this election count is so close, it's required under WA state law.

This race changes back and forth every half hour or so.
Not sure why I care so much about a race on the other side of the country... But this is maddening.

no link, and I thought this was going to be a shocking update. this is pretty much the same news for a week. it's discussionary chat, until the decision of who wins has been made. I hope the Dem can pull it out, we need everyone of them in office for 06.

13. Dems have the House and Senate |
|
if he gets in, he has no f*cking 'mandate' at all. 49% of vote, just like Gregoire.
