Neoconservatives Gain Strength in New Bush Team
"The neocons are feeling quite confident right now. Things are breaking their way. A group of people who in any rational culture should be looking for other jobs are being promoted," said Jonathan Clarke of the conservative Cato Institute, co-author of a book on the neoconservative movement.

2. THey can call themselves what they want
but they ARE NEO-FASCISTS!

And, of course, they're "feeling confident"..another election stolen right under the eyes of most Americans will do that.

4. No doubt.
What chills me the most about this article, and many others in the past few days, is that "air strikes" and "sub-combat operations" and "incursions" are listed as "classic US foreign policy" actions.
Hello?!?
Those are NOT foreign policy actions. Those are hostile actions when foreign policy fails.

8. I am thinking the same thing.
I keep thinking they are going to do something really really dangerous and stupid right out of the chute - and not even before the inaugeration.

9. But too many paleocons and moderates will survive
the night of the long knives.
We will have accidental allies.
Use them.

14. Wow! This comes as a COMPLETE SURPRISE!!!
I totally thought George Jr. would have tried to bring us together after that divisive campaign and would really have tried to share power, not turn it over to the neo- and ultra-conservatives.

Now back to BizzaroWorld for me.
