Hassan's body may have been found
Australian Prime Minister John Howard said today a woman's body found in Falluja was likely to be that of kidnapped aid worker Margaret Hassan.

"The body found in Falluja appears to have been Margaret's and the video of the execution of a Western woman appears on all the available information to have been genuine," Mr Howard told the Australian parliament.

Mr Howard did not say which body he was referring to, but marines had found the mutilated body of what they believe was a western woman on a street in Falluja during the US assault on the town on Sunday.

The Foreign Office in London said it had yet to receive confirmation of the identity of the body, which has been taken away for tests.

1. Very strange...She was kidnapped in Baghdad and Falluja was cordoned off
...by the US military...yet her body shows up in Falluja, the "hotbed" of the Terrorist-Insurgents...who now get portrayed in the court of public opinion as maniacal.

Black Ops?

5. I am
She was wellknown in Iraq for doing good work. I read that Zarqawi said if they had handed her over to him he would have released her.
I think whoever killed her must be furious about the attack on Fallujah by the invaders.

3. HOORAY! Another dead body for Bush!
George W. Bush can chalk up another dead body! What a wonderful leader we have! I wonder how many more dead people he will create today?
