Former British environment minister attacks PNAC

The former environment minster of Great Britain, Michael Meacher, uttered serious doubts in an article published by the British Guardian, titled This War on terrorism is bogus.

This article has released a storm of protest. A spokesperson of the US-embassy in London said: "Mr. Meachers phantastic accusations - especially his proposition that US-government was standing aside knowing, while terrorists have killed more than 3000 innocent people in New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia - would be monstrous and monstrously insulting, if they came from a serious and believable person."

Meacher, who had several posts as a minister in British government, was minister of environment from 1997 until June 2003 lastly.

British Prime minister Tony Blair dismissed him after Meacher had pointed out dangers of genetically manipulated food.
