After finding voting documents from Nov. 2 in trash cans behind two
county buildings, a national watchdog group has named Volusia County
one of its top priorities for investigation in the country.

Bev Harris, founder of Black Box Voting, a Seattle-based organization
of elections activists, said Thursday her group is forming a team of
investigators and attorneys to look into possible voting
irregularities in Volusia County.

Their interest was piqued when representatives found polling place
tapes, which show a printed record of ballots fed into optical
scanning machines, in the garbage at the Department of Elections'
warehouse on State Road 44 in DeLand and at the office behind the
county administration building in downtown DeLand.

"Finding the tape in the garbage was beyond comical," Harris said in a
phone interview. "The American people want an answer."

1. "Beyond comical"
really means it's criminal. Way to go, Bev!

2. It may well be comical if it brings
no results. The whole movement may be trashed if these are plants or if they end up meaning nothing..

I hope she's careful - there's a possibility that these are for Precinct 215 if that's what she said, and that would be a heavily Republican precinct, not the african american district.

I hope I'm wrong about this, but I have a bad feeling that this isn't the way to approach this.

I'm waiting for some hard data before I get too excited. This would be a perfect way for them to call the voter fraud movement "fringe" or "wacko"..

tread lightly here or have a big hammer.. we don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water, or put all our eggs in one basket, and there are more people doing research than Bev on these crucial issues..

7. There are certainly risks.

If the election WAS stolen and the nation accepts it without question, the Republic is ENDED.

If the bad party provides opportunities for the Democrats to discredit themselves, and the Democrats too willingly take the bait, then that is bad too.

What seems to be sensible is to withold judgements until the reasonable (in the minds of Democrats) doubts are addressed.

That of course requires that all the reasonable doubts get addressed.

So happy to see the press acknowledge this! Now if they'd only pick it up on the national wires....
