Three More Bodies Found in Iraq's Restive Mosul
MOSUL, Iraq (Reuters) - The bodies of three men killed by insurgents were found on a street in the Iraqi city of Mosul on Sunday, a day after U.S. troops in the city discovered the bodies of nine Iraqi soldiers who had been shot in the head.

Those found on Sunday had also been shot in the head, and lay on the ground in a street in the industrial sector of Mosul, Iraq (news - web sites)'s third largest city, 240 miles north of Baghdad.

Scraps of paper left on the bodies said they were peshmerga, or Kurdish militiamen. Many of the region's recruits to the Iraqi National Guard, Iraq's newly formed civil defense force, are peshmerga.

Mosul remains on edge after anti-American insurgents routed the police force there a week ago, and there have been several reports of captured members of the new U.S.-backed security forces being killed.

2. Good Morning Maddezmom.
US forces withdrew 250 heavy vehicles from the
concentration around the city during the last four days,
sending them off in the direction of Mosul in the north of
the country, where the Resistance has opened a new front
of action against the occupation forces.

The people of Iraq hope that the Resistance will continue to
defy the American aggressors for another week because that
will mean, according to political observers, the collapse
of American power.

Notice that the 1st time Zarqawi's name was
mentioned:Powell's BS UNspeech.

Since then Z has has grown more powerful
than Poland in his ability to project power.

The Army War College should be working overtime
to figure out how this guy has acquired the ability
to project power across Iraq. Alexander
the Great didn't rise up this fast.

You know, if nothing else, if after 20 months I still
didn't have electricity and a mile away this "Green Zone"
looks like a "beacon on the hill", there's gonna be
a fight.

And can anyone recall the last time USMedia
mentioned Electricity in Iraq? Nasdaq/Dow doesn't count.
