9/11 victims' families assail Congress
9/11 victims' families assail Congress

Monday, November 22, 2004, 12:00 A.M. Pacific

WASHINGTON — Angry relatives of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001,
terrorist attacks denounced Congress yesterday for failing to enact
broad intelligence reforms aimed at thwarting further terrorist
assaults.

"These guys are going to have blood on their hands," said Beverly
Eckert, of Stamford, Conn., whose husband was killed when hijacked
airliners crashed into the World Trade Center. "It's reprehensible
when partisan politics interferes with the safety of the American
people."

Congress adjourned Saturday without considering a compromise bill that
would have created a new director of national intelligence after
Republicans in the House objected that it took too much authority from
the Pentagon and did not contain tough new restrictions on immigrants.

Congressional leaders left open a slim possibility yesterday that
lawmakers will try to resurrect the bill. But Sen. Majority Leader
Bill Frist, R-Tenn., interviewed on "Fox News Sunday," suggested that
the current Congress is unlikely to act without an aggressive push
from the president.

1. We don`t have a president to push anything. We have a murderous puppet.
If his puppet masters pull the correct strings he will smirk and lie. But pushing for decent action is not a possibility of the working parts. Hard work is just some excuse for negligence anyway. With this evil puppet show.

2. I think this is a fake; Bush** will "show his leadership" and "force" the
congress to pass the bill. From now on out you will see a lionizing of Bush** as he builds his "legacy as the great leader". This crap with the secret service agent is another small example of making him appear bold and tough.

3. nah, don't forget: he won't be elected again, so why bother to
bolster an image? Especially if he intends to rescind elections through martial law by 2008, no need to worry about what people think about him, right?

What we're getting now is the pure, unadultered by conscience George W. ....in all his "glory". no need for Rovian tactics now. Sort of like when people get married and stop dieting. Why try to appear attractive when you've got the position?

8. This all seems choreographed to me. It's an effort to improve
Bushitler's image. Good cop/bad cop.

I'm willing to bet this will set up an opportunity for the radical Reich to pack this legislation fuller than the Trojan Horse. Here's a piece of complex, extensive legislation that's being demanded (in widely diffferent forms, of course) by both sides of the aisle. A small group of Fascists have blocked it. Why? In order to bastardize it and pack it with unrelated riders is my bet. I look forward to seeing our "retch-presentatives" pass a bill that they didn't read an iota of - packed with infringements on civil liberties and fascist viruses. I'll be watching for an overnight wholesale replacement of the text followed by a rushed vote and drastically limited debate.

6. this time in my tracking at least, blocking it was...
because they are trying to strip out many of the 9/11 commission's
recommendations on border security and immigration reform.

that's precisely how they got into the country, on student VISAs
on expired VISAS, they bought fake IDs and even had driver's licenses.

Bush and many want to allow illegal immigrants into the country.
Undocumented workers are big business.

7. Forcing down labor compensation is a key goal of fascism.
It's an "ownership society" - slaveholders rule! Thus, businesses that hire illegals get a free pass when, in fact, criminal penalties for the owners and managers hiring illegals is the ONLY way labor equity can be enforced.

10. You have to fight for your rights
It's terrible what happened with people in case of 9/11.
This divorced and fighting world cannot be goal for the most.
So you have to fight for your rights.

We must push them to keep the laws and this can be done legally, thanks for other heroes in history of the world who fought for these we want to reach.

Most families have broken. But only mad criminals and their background should be covered up, and banned.
It is not impossible, even if they had been sitting in the president's chair.
