Governor (Jeb Bush) says Nelson will be next to go down
Governor says Nelson will be next to go down
http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/local/10242270.htm
Surrounded by fellow Republicans, Bush celebrated the win of his brother, President Bush, and predicted that Republicans would take out U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in 2006. Nelson is the lone remaining Democrat elected statewide.

''Basically there's only one race left that we can win, and we're going to win that in two years when a U.S. senator is elected,'' Bush said to a round of fervent applause. ``It's not going to be me, but maybe it will be someone from this room.''

-

''We can't be the party of the government,'' Bush said .

22. What they don't have is logic and values. That's the air vent in the...

You don't need anything else but to drop two little bombs in the right spot and watch the whole thing explode from the inside out.

13. GOP 2006 wish list: Hillary, Nelson, plus 2 more/Democracy Gone!
In 2006, it is HAVA mandated 100% Evoting + no paper trail + delayed (or no) exit polls = 5 Dem Senators gone = no more filabuster (the last thread of "balance of power") = Bye bye Democracy.

18. HAVA was a republican windfall!!
I have no idea how people actually believed it helped voting at all. From my own experience, I was forced to send a copy of my driver's license to the state in order to vote, or be removed from the voter rolls.

We have to learn, if it's called HELP AMERICA VOTE ACT, it means the opposite. That's the Bush mentality. If it says CLEAN AIR, it means dirtier air, etc.

16. And maybe lots of DU'ers will complain Nelson is too conservative...
...and that it wouldn't be a bad thing if we lost him, or maybe they'll say who cares if we win, so long we run the most liberal Democrat possible, regardless of the realities of running for statewide office in Florida.

23. Sounds like the Daschle treatment
I'm sure we all feel much better now that we lost that South Dakota seat to fine young man like John Thune.

Anyway, the Pubs are drunk on their own success right now, seeing how far they can push things to the conservative extreme. The center is wide open. By 2006, Nelson et al will be able to run an intelligent campaign against their IDEOLOGY. Hopefully the party finally develops a strong and consistently advanced argument for our philosphy vs. theirs, and puts the laundry list of policy plans in a supporting role.

24. "Reform" = plutocracy, nepotism, dismantling the Constitution...
...and a few other things I could name.

Seriously, the treacherous apes in the Bush family are the ones who need to be removed from office -- them and their cronies. First, we cannot make nice with them; they are ruthless and don't care how many generations they grind under their boot heels.

Second, what are we doing TODAY to discredit and remove them?

ENVISION A COUNTRY WITH NO BUSHES IN OFFICE. We can achieve that dream.
