Bush's help sought on intelligence reform

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Lawmakers and members of the commission that investigated the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks called Monday on President Bush to do everything in his power to win passage of a major intelligence reform bill in December.

The mounting pressure from Republicans and Democrats came two days after a group of House Republicans blocked the bill, which calls for sweeping reform of the nation's intelligence services.

And Pat Roberts says the WH was not behind the bill. Funny how the WH was not vocal on supporting it. I believe nothing they say, but watch their actions to see what they really want. No way does this administration want an independent Intelligence bureaucracy.
