Gunfire Erupts, Kills 1 Near Phila. School

HILADELPHIA (AP) - Gunfire erupted Monday outside a North Philadelphia high school, killing a 16-year-old boy and injuring two girls, authorities said.

The boy, Jalil Speaks, had been threatened following a neighborhood fight several weeks ago that led police to increase their presence in the area, said his aunt, Melissa Thomas.

The aunt said another boy's mother had made another threat at an ensuing court hearing. "The mother said she was going to see that Jalil gets what he deserves," Thomas said.

Two 16-year-old girls were also caught in the gunfire outside Strawberry Mansion High shortly after classes ended for the day. One was hospitalized Monday in fair condition and the other was treated for a leg injury and released.

I was reading something yesterday - most of the States that are restricting sex education in schools are also the ones with the lowest age of consent.....So you can have sex, but not talk about the ways you can do it safely....
