Rigged elections, exit polls wrong, mass protests. Don't like this picture. Not much revolt going on here, yet. Scary, with Patriot Act II about to rear its' ugly head. Opinions, please.

1. I thought the same thing.
Haven't heard much of anything in this country regarding rigged elections or protests. But I haven't done anything about it either.
Also, the Ukraine is a heck of a lot smaller than the US, making protests at least logistically easier.

7. Yes, it's smaller and
their media actually covers protests.

How ironic is that!?

6. I thought the same exact thing when saw it on the news ...
The BBC News (I don't bother with US news anymore) had a lot of coverage of the revolt and I was sitting in front of the TV yelling, "Why the f*ck aren't Americans doing that?!"

9. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? MSM didn't cover HUNDREDs of THOUSANDS
who marched against Iraq Invasion...yet they go to the "former Soviet Union" and check out the protestors there..

What? Is he waiting for his friend "Pootie Poot" to bring the tanks into the streets and KILL the UPRISING as an example to those of us who think of protesting again...like against this latest "Selection?"

Is this the "media ruse" to prepare Americans that you will be "killed by our force" if you DARE protest us like those former "Pinko Communists" who are protesting THEIR ELECTION?

That's the only reason I see CNN/MSNBC/MSM even reporting this. It's a WARNING TO US...I hope I'm wrong...being "paranoid" here in my little liberal oasis here in what's left of America as we knew it.

11. Big Media's Democracy Double Standards
Robert Parry of Consortium News wrote an article about it today, called Big Media's Democracy Double Standards. It's great ammunition to throw in the face of all those who use the media lockdown as an excuse to say the electile dysfunction story has no merit. I will now throw this story in the face of every conservative I encounter on the internet who dismisses discussion of voting suppression and fraud. I encourage everybody to email The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, ABC and CBS to throw this article in their faces. I just emailed CNN yesterday and told them I no longer consider them much better than Fox.
