Visit (India) by Israeli leader to seal growing military, commercial ties
Landmark visit by Israeli leader to seal growing military, commercial ties

ASSOCIATED PRESS

NEW DELHI, India, Sept. 7 — Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is due in New Delhi on Monday, along with three of his ministers and more than two dozen influential business and defense industry executives.

The visit marks the high point of a budding friendship between countries that share a British colonial past and tensions with Islamic extremists in the present, as well as a nuclear capability and strong high-tech industries.

Not all Indians will welcome Sharon, however, and India's neighbor and chief nuclear adversary, Pakistan, will be watching warily.

The visit could tilt the balance of power on the subcontinent if India receives significant military assistance from technologically advanced Israel.

Both Israel and India face Islamic nations that they are at odds with.

4. And both have a history of racism and genocide...
really does make sense. India is not Ghandi's India today and Israel is not Jesus' Israel today.

6. Yes, many Israelis have indeed been victims of genocide
but that's where Israel's history of genocide begins and ends.

If Israel tried genocide on the Palestinians, then how come their numbers increase substantially and even THEIR death totals are small for a military conflict?
