Brazil Documents Detail Nazi Mengele's Last Years

SAO PAULO, Brazil (Reuters) - Josef Mengele, the infamous Nazi doctor known as the Angel of Death, died in Brazil 25 years ago lonely and cash-strapped but apparently unrepentant, according to documents published this week.

Mengele's letters, diary entries and official papers archived at police headquarters in Sao Paulo and published by the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper shed light on the fugitive doctor's everyday life during his last years.
