Fighting Human Slavery in San Antonio
LAST UPDATE: 11/26/2004 6:30:02 AM
SAN ANTONIO (AP) -
A new task force is being set up to fight human trafficking and slavery, problems that authorities say are rampant in the United States. Federal, state and local officials will announce the formation of the San Antonio group Monday.
Johnny Sutton, U.S. attorney for the West Texas District, headquartered in San Antonio, said human-trafficking cases get prosecuted, but investigators haven't even come close to unearthing countless other unknown abuses.
"A lot of people can't even imagine that in the United States, in 2004, there is slavery," Sutton said in Thursday's editions of the San Antonio Express-News. "It's an underground world, and we need people to get vigilant and report crimes."

George W. Bush has had his State Department flunkies, like Colin Powell, and Otto Reich, and Roger Noriega, and John Bolton making charges against countries with leftist leaders, like Cuba, Venezuela, etc., claiming
THEY are trading in human trafficking, child prostitution, etc. whenever he wants to take a kick at them.
He always gets answered but GOOD by these countries, and he should. What a colossal ass of a man.
