Blair's popularity plummets to lowest ever

London - More voters think Prime Minister Tony Blair should quit than back him.

A survey in The Mail on Sunday newspaper showed 43 percent of those polled believed Blair should resign over the suicide of a weapons expert at the heart of a furious row over the government's reasons for going to war in Iraq.

About 42 percent believed he should stay in office and 15 percent were undecided, according to the YouGov poll.

It is the first to indicate more voters are against Blair than for him.

Now let's see, strike breaking, war-mongering, PFI, tuition fees, welfare cuts, corporate cronyism, immigrant bashing, I could go on for ages with examples of Blair's right wingery. The Labour sign next to Blair's name of the polling slips in Sedgefield means virtually nothing these days. Under Blair "new" labour has lost everything that it once stood for.
