Bush Says Nuclear Deal with Iran Must Be Verifiable
CRAWFORD, Texas (Reuters) - President Bush on Friday welcomed the work of Europeans in trying to get Iran to honor its nuclear agreement but said any such deal must be verifiable.

"I appreciate the nations of Great Britain and Germany and France who are working to try to convince Iran to honor their international treaty obligations," Bush said.

"The only good deal is one that's verifiable and I look forward to talking to the leaders of those countries," Bush told a group of reporters when he stopped for lunch during his Thanksgiving vacation at his Texas ranch.

1. So... let me get this straight...
Iran has to prove it's not making nuclear weapons, just like Iraq had to prove it didn't have WMDs. And, of course, some guy from Niger will come up with some documents "proving" Iran is making nukes.....

6. I wish France and Germany would say that same about
our most recent election. We won't accept the results until they are verifiable. All the outcry over Ukranian exit polls. Does the world not know about our OWN exit polls here?

7. Oof
Euros are not working to convince Iran to honor their international treaty obligations. Iran has been doing that and above all the time.

What the negotiations have been about is trust building measures, Iran agreeing to do much much more that international treaties obligate.

Of course Bush don't know that, because nobady in US knows that as US media don't tell that. Trust building is perhaps something Bush and US MSM are inherently incapable of understanding.

8. Where was this call for verification when
Bush was blowing all that WMD crap out his ass?

It's always someone ELSE who has to prove it. When BUSH made claims about Iraq, it was Iraq that had to prove they weren't true.

"Personal responsibility" my ass.

11. Nah, bush is just pissed off that the EU left him out of the Iran
negoiations and there is not a goddamned thing he can
do about it if they don't want to play with him at the UN.

12. Bush
He can try to piss of Iran and ruin the negotiations, like last time, but, fool me once, fool me twice... bring it on!

Euro's have a learning curve at least occasionally, this time the trust building groundwork with Iran was done so pedantly that Bush can't ruin it by his dirty insulting lies.

There is not a goddamned thing he can do - except loose! :D
