Pair who played host on 9/11 insist they don't seek Bush's gratitude
HALIFAX -- A Halifax family that hosted Americans during the September 11 terrorist attacks say they don't want the thanks of United States President George W. Bush.

Bush is coming to the Nova Scotia capital to express his gratitude for the hospitality given to grounded travellers three years ago.

Archie Kaiser and his wife Anne Derrick put up a New Jersey family for several days.

But Derrick says she doesn't like the idea of her city being used as a "photo opportunity" for a world leader she says has "blood on his hands."

Now, that would have been something. Just imagine his face when someone refuses to shake his "bloody hands".

7. Typical Trumped up forcing of gratitude
They play this game offering thanks and if the offended are now grateful they play it up as the wonders of Bush love. However if given the cold shoulder they then play the indignant yet humility card that their base then steams and grumbles about and yell "*&^% 'em."

10. My guess is * 's plans
will suddenly change. Won't meet any of these wonderful people face to face. Just a press conference/photo op with canned applause/cheers.
