see his performance here, a real honest guy...

CARSON CITY -- Secretary of State Dean Heller said Monday he has awarded a $4.6 million contract to companies that will install a statewide voter registration system.

Heller said the contract was given to Covaneys Corp. of Farmington Hills, Mich., and PCC Technology Ground of Bloomfield, Conn., to build and finish the system by December 2005. The Help America Vote Act required states to have such systems ready to operate by 2006. Federal money will pay most of the costs.

"A statewide voter registration system will help ensure that voter fraud in Nevada is a tough crime to pull off," said Heller, the state's chief election officer.

Under the system, a person can register anywhere in Nevada and registration information will be available on election department computers throughout the 17 counties of the state. Registrars can determine whether the person previously registered in other counties.

2. I can't find any info on the web about the second company
I am hoping for some help with this. I've contacted the newspaper editor and asked if his reporter verified the company names from Heller.

4. they proudly tout their outsourcing to India
from their web page...select the "company" link. they call it "Flexible Delivery"......

Covansys blazed a trail in January of 1992 when it became one of the first U.S.-based IT services companies to establish offshore facilities in India to provide high-quality and cost-effective services for its clients. Long before it became a market trend, Covansys saw the business value that could be unleashed by combining homegrown market knowledge and deep vertical industry expertise with the pure elasticity of outsourcing.
