Police Search Homes in Anti-Terror Raid: UK

Police searched properties tonight in three anti-terror raids.
Officers in Greater Manchester raided two addresses in Great Western Street, Rusholme, and a third property nearby, shortly before 8pm.

The raids followed information provided after the arrest of a man.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said there had been no subsequent arrests.Uniformed and forensic officers were scouring the scene.

The spokesman said: “As a consequence of an arrest of a man in Manchester, a number of addresses have been searched under the Terrorism Act 2000. Police investigations are ongoing.”
