The Senate convenes at 9:30 AM.

The Senate will consider H.R. 2660, the FY 2004 Labor/HHS/Education Appropriations bill.

VOTES on amendments may occur late this afternoon.

1. you got a time table for the vote on
funding new nuclear weapons? I can't remember exactly the name of it but I'm pretty sure it was coming to a vote in the senate sometime soon

3. I think that would be on Defense Appropriations...
since I can't find the amendment, and the bill is in conference, it probably didn't pass.

8. Repugs are delaying the vote.
The presidential candidates are present today but planned not to be there tomorrow, so they want to delay the vote until tomorrow.
