Cargo plane ditches in Miami lake

AVENTURA, Florida (AP) -- A decades-old cargo plane went down in a lake in a Miami suburb Saturday, but the pilot and co-pilot climbed onto the fuselage and were plucked to safety by rescuers.

The Miami Air Lease plane -- with the words "Eelect (sic) George W. Bush" running the length of the fuselage -- had trouble with one of its two engines shortly after takeoff, said company office manager Alina Nodarse.

4. You have to wonder if these "followers" did any special

flying for the BFEE, you know like delivering alien techies or dumping odd boxes. Wouldn't be the first time that cleaning up of loose ends was done this way, just didn't expect pilots to make it out. (adjusting my :tinfoilhat: and wondering :shrug:)

Recognizing that 2 people died, and that's sad, still the pics of this plane 2/3 submerged in a FL swamp, with the words EELECT GEORGE W. BUSH barely visible is somewhat comical and ironic.

It clearly reads "Re-elect George Bush."

Just as the CNN shots and video clearly show "E-elect George Bush, which the article states was painted on BEFORE the election.

The plane, a CV-340, has this registration number: N4 1626
according to the Propliner Databse Display Page at http://proplinerlist.kunadt.ch/display_table.asp

There is a note that it was seen and photographed 4/08/04 at the Belize International Airport. Under "Remarks" it states "Photographed today with Reelect George W Bush titles in large red letters."

It is registered to Miami Air Lease. I did a google search but could find no record of who owns this company. The CNN article said the family is Republican. Why so secretive?

I also searched for the pilot and copilot. I found no matches for the Pilot, Alejandro Bristol. However, I found quite a few matches for co-pilot Dennis Villavicencio. There appear to be several people by this name, but one was rather intriguing. Ther is a Carlsbad, CA lawyer by this name. He specializes in financial cases and he is quoted in an article I found warning others about crooked financial advisors. Maybe no relation, but interesting.

N4 1626 is a CV340 model, cn 274, designated C-131B when it was delivered to the USAF in September 1955 as 53-7822. It was used in the military, FAA and Systems Command, wound up in desert story in Tuscosn in 87. Registered to Steven G. Pennin in 1991 as N41626 and changed owners under same tail number in December 1993 to Miami Air Lease. The sites shows an old photo from Feb. 1999; no Bush messages on the tail back then.

The plane supposedly was carrying luggage to Nassau in the Bahamas (a popular offshore account location).

Since some here have seen this on video, plus the E-elect appears in photos taken by CNN as as well as a Miami TV station (see link in another thread), the question arises: Who changed the "Reelect" to "Eelect" and why?
