Warren Buffett Minimizes Role In Schwarzenegger Campaign
Edited on Tue Sep-09-03 01:05 PM by peterh
(sorry – no link yet)

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP)--Multibillionaire investor Warren Buffett is
stressed Tuesday that he is only one of 18 economic advisers to California
gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Buffett's comment came in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where he attended a
groundbreaking ceremony for a coal-fired electricity plant that Berkshire
Hathaway-owned MidAmerican Energy is building.
Buffett, the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway (BRKB), faced questions at the
ceremony over how seriously Schwarzenegger is taking Buffett's advice.
Buffett suggested last month that California's property taxes are too low.
Schwarzenegger quickly and publicly rejected that advice, considered unpopular
with California voters.
Schwarzenegger even joked that if Buffett made the suggestion again he would
make the 73-year-old Buffett perform 500 sit-ups.
Buffett is taking that threat to heart.
"I couldn't do 500 sit-ups between now and the election," he said.

I think having 18 economic advisers in one room would stress even Timothy Leary.

6. I've heard suggestion/rumor that Ahnold might've been
accompanying mentor Warren on September 11th. If truth, a boost among his faithful, no?

Rememeber how all the press touted his leadership team? Well it turns out he never talks if they are drinking a glass of water. Davis needs to make an issue of this NOT FIT TO GOVERN aspect of Arnold...turning America over to the business community where leaders of companies now get paid HUGE fees to CAUSE them to fail isn't smart.

LET THE PUBLIC SERVANTS HANDLE IT.

Oh and :hi:
