Powell hints at future as political commentator
http://sg.news.yahoo.com/041210/1/3p6f3.html

Outgoing US Secretary of State Colin Powell hinted that he may become a commentator on political and foreign affairs after he leaves his post next month.

Powell, who has been close-mouthed about his future plans after announcing his resignation as the top US diplomat last month, said he expected to be "speaking out on the issues of the day" when he returns to private life.

"I am stepping down from this job but I am not retiring from life," he told a group of Dutch students here on perhaps his final official trip abroad.

"I will find things to do in the private sector and I also expect to have a public part of my life where I'll be speaking out on the issues of the day and have the opportunity to express my opinions from time to time," he said.

6. It's easy work...
... and well-paid, at least on TV. After all, Hannity and O'Really can do it. :P

`Course, this little announcement on Powell's part is probably intended to start a bidding war between CNN and Fox....
