OPEC Cutting Oil Production By 1 Million Barrels A Day |
|
I just saw them interview some chick on the news WITH AN SUV! HAHAHAHAHA. She said she spends $400 a month on gas. Gee, I wonder why we might be running out of oil? Could it be the gas-guzzling hogs you drive around all day? Notice they call OPEC a 'cartel', that's my favorite part. Check it out: http://business.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=3868131

5. I spent nothing. I got my trusty ol' bike that I've had for six years. |

I like to call it Rattletown Amerika because the chain is rusted, the brakes shot, half the gears don't work, yet it still gets me places. :P
Edit: Oh, and I had to patch the tires four times.

I just spent 45 minutes going to the store on my bike to get a six pack and smokes. And I rocked out with the iPod on the way. The iPod was $300 and the bike was $20.
My ass is fantastic.

4. I eat a muffin, generally with a latte |

splenda(tm) no sugar. On really cold days, i might go for scrambled with hash browns in a pita, grilled. Same latte.
That gets me the six mile loop I generally go for groceries. I try to only buy a few day's worth at a time of the perishables, and ride with my sweetheart to get the bulky stuff once a month. I like the fresh food in the city market far more than gigantormart's perishables. Part of that economy of buying, I shame-facedly admit, is the fact that the last hill up to my house is a 17% grade. That's percent, not degree. It isnt really as street, as much as a badly leaning wall. Our people, they are wary of switchbacks...and the nice Italian butcher kindly double bags for me with icecubes.
Hey, over a week, that latte adds up. Last year, during a carless period, my s/o rode 75 miles a week to school. She really was in great shape. But she could not walk pass a croissant. During the summer, we are both SUV's when it comes to the carbs.

I love the moaning and whining that come from self-inflicted problems. Life is just too damn funny that way!

10. I spend 350.00 a month for gas. |

Of course that's for 3 cars and my husband commutes. I have three teenage kids and that's what really kills me.

How come the rigged market for OIL is never mentioned when the FREE TRADERS are spouting the wonders of the WTO, IMF, and the glories of the new unfettered free markets???
