Fla. Convict Pleads Guilty to Anthrax Mail (to Bush)

PENSACOLA, Fla. - A prison inmate who mailed a letter laced with white powder pleaded guilty Friday to threatening to send anthrax to President Bush, Gov. Jeb Bush and federal employees.

Tests indicated the substance was a harmless body powder, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Len Register.

Roger V. Evans admitted he mailed the envelope in April from Washington Correctional Institution in Chipley to the U.S. District Court clerk's office.

He pleaded guilty to federal charges of threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction against federal property and mailing threatening communications. He could face up to life in prison at sentencing March 9.

3. What ARE the odds that when the lethal envelopes arrived

they inexplicably targeted two of the most powerful Senators we had, at that time? Which also reminds me, what are the odds that another powerful senator the _Bushes despised would be killed in an airplane crash right before he could be re-elected?

You'd be tempted to think a mysterious "anthrax murderer" might by chance end up sending the lethal substance to a Republican. Remember the stupid faux "event" which was staged to pretend that Bill Frist got one, too? Fat chance! That's the LAST thing that'll ever happen (unless Frist "gets" amnesia, forgets where he is, and starts voting with the Democrats)!

What ever happended to those who sent anthrax? Oh, that was sent to Democrats and mere postal workers, wasn't? No need to bother with that.
