ITN'S TERRY: SHOCK NEW EVIDENCE - killed by U.S. helicopter
ITN reporter Terry Lloyd was killed by a US gunship in a bungled attack, it is claimed.

It was believed Lloyd, 50, was shot dead by US Marines in crossfire with Saddam troops in the Iraq war.

But rescuer Hamid Aglan claims the journalist was only lightly wounded and died hours later when the gunship blasted a minibus taking him to hospital. Hamid said: "He'd have lived if I'd got him to safety."

AN Iraqi businessman told yesterday how ITN reporter Terry Lloyd was shot dead by a US helicopter gunship which blasted his civilian minibus.

Wounded Lloyd, 50, was being driven by Hamid Aglan away from fighting early in the Iraq war when the aircraft burst out of the sky.
