Bush officials blame Kerik for not disclosing problems
Bush officials blame Kerik for not disclosing problems

By Seattle Times news services

WASHINGTON — White House officials yesterday blamed Bernard Kerik for repeatedly failing to disclose potential legal problems to administration lawyers vetting his nomination to be homeland-security secretary.

...

Kerik, who withdrew his name Friday and apologized yesterday for embarrassing Bush, was asked numerous times by White House lawyers if he had employed an illegal immigrant or failed to pay taxes on domestic help, sources told The Washington Post.

Kerik responded with firm denials. After digging deeper, however, Kerik said he discovered last week he might have a problem on both accounts, and withdrew.

...

Kerik's housekeeper situation was only the latest blemish to be revealed about the nominee. A series of critical news reports about questionable actions had begun to surface about Kerik, threatening to turn his Senate confirmation into a lengthy embarrassment for the administration.

The reports had looked at Kerik's use of city personnel while in office, potential conflicts between his business life and the role of the Homeland Security Department, and events growing out of his personal financial difficulties several years ago.

Check out the Documentary..."Unjustifiable Homicide" Two of Kerik's bodyguard friends who were also bodyguards of FascistGiuliani were involved in execution style shootings in NYC while in the department...CONNECTIONS...CONNECTIONS...CONNECTIONS...they may be saving that one for when that IDIOT Giuliani TRIES to run for Prez.
There is alot out there about these fascists!

4. They knew enough
if not all to know this stooge would be a guy subject to easy blackmailing and scapegoating, which means they have substantial fears about some new crisis exposing the horrible unpreparedness of the nation. For that eventuality they'd rather have a loud mouthed nut who can be a willing human sacrifice than an honest inspirational man who can do the job. Doing the job and criticizing the administration for failing to fund or implement HS is the LAST thing the Bushistas want.

They'd rather we'd all die first.

5. They knew all about his problems and probably leaked the goods
This is standard fare--they named Kerik (because they are paying him off for something undoubtedly)

Then they leaked the goods on him to the media (because they really didn't want to appoint him in the first place but he probably had something on them... or more precisely on them and 911)

Now that Kerik has been totally discredited publicly whatever he says against bush becomes null and void in the future.

Additionally while all the hoopla over Kerik is being covered by the MSM they can name someone even worse to the position (whoever it is they really wanted to begin with) and slide them in under the radar.

Call me a tinfoiler but that seems to be the way it works in this admin.
