For his reading of MY LIFE

Grammy nominees announced
SOUNDS FAMILIAR By Baby A. Gil
The Philippine Star 12/13/2004

Bill Clinton has a Grammy nomination. The controversial but I must say, very attractive former US president is in the running in the Best Spoken Word Album category for the recorded reading of his autobiography, My Life, in the 47th Grammy Awards which will be held in Los Angeles in February. If I remember right, his wife Hilary already has a Grammy, also for the Best Spoken Word Album. This is for her book It Takes a Village.

Clinton is up against four popular comedy recordings, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris; Live & Kickin’ at the National Storytelling Festival by David Holt and Zeb Holt; The Pleasure of My Company by Steve Martin and The World According to Mr. Rogers by Tyne Daly, John Lithgow, Lily Tomlin and Andre Watts.

9. The Big Dog already has a Grammy.
He(and others) won last year for the spoken word version of "Peter & the Wolf". I already had 2 versions of P&tW, but made it a troika for Bill & Gorby.
