Some voters left in limbo
Courtesy of the Akron Beacon Journal:

http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/6734757.htm

Postcards notifying 2,300 voters that their polling places had changed -- including some voters in Akron's problem-plagued Ward 2 -- never got sent by the Summit County Board of Elections.

< - snip - >

The problem comes on the heels of a board employee giving a potential candidate the wrong petitions to circulate in August and the disappearance of the petitions of Councilman Joe Finley, D-2, in June.

Finley was facing a challenge from Dodson, who is the law clerk for Board of Elections Chairman Russ Pry.

My view on this:

They tried their best to keep Finley out.

Also, Repub State Rep Bryan Williams (not the Faux newscaster) has been pushing for a term-limits initiative on the Akron Mayor position, long held by Democrat Don Plusquellic. Williams, himself a "victim" of term limits (and, I must say, one of the few Repubs who went relatively quietly), apparently believes that Plusquellic cannot be defeated, so he must be removed (by any means Republican).

1. AWD is this in your area ?
I guess I have never really paid attention to how poorly our Boards of Election operate. Time to start getting involved.

2. how blatant!
Now career repukes in election offices feel perfectly comfortable helping steal elections. I bet these two veterans didn't even have to be strong armed by the local repuke party. And of course they have plausible deniability, they forgot to print and send the notices. How convenient. Glad to see Finley won anyway. Now he can make sure they get a through investigation and if these employees can't do their job then I'm sure Finley can find others that can.

There is an evil virus of republican voter fraud and election stealing settling into this country. It must be stopped.
