Texas moves against alleged diploma mill
Dallas, TX, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- The Texas attorney general Monday obtained a temporary restraining order against an alleged diploma mill that once sold an MBA degree to a cat.
...
"This unaccredited university offers 'degrees' for sale and charges from $300 to $500 for what amounts to worthless paper," said Attorney General Greg Abbott.

The Poes allegedly market, promote and churn out the "degrees" via Internet advertisements on the university's Web site, he said.

The Web site claims a prospective student has "no classes to attend, no tests to take!" The students are qualified based on their own testimony about their skill and experience.

The Pennsylvania attorney general recently sought an injunction against the same operation after the office said it bought an MBA for a cat using an undercover name.

But this story doesn't seem to be political news. They have to cover a spectrum of news to appear legit, otherwise their true agenda will be very easy to spot.
