Ford to Kill Mammoth Excursion Next Year
Ford Motor Co. will kill off the Ford Excursion, its largest sport utility vehicle and a lightning rod for criticism from environmental groups, next year, a source familiar with the plan said on Monday.

1. Coming Soon From Ford, the Monstrosity!

The largest vehicle on the consumer market!

Honestly, who cares about the Excursion when there's H2s and those X-Truck (or whatever they're called) abominations. They just want to be the biggest again. Watch.

3. LOL, now that is what our troops need in Iraq with a little more...
...armor on top and around the exposed wheels. We would reduce the ammunition requirements as this MFR could just crush the Iraqi population that gets in its way!

How about the Ford Excrement? The slogan could be "If you thought our other trucks were piles of shit, wait til you see this!"

2. Chalk one up for corporate environmental responsibility. . .
. . . although the real reason why Ford is dropping the line is lack of sufficient sales to make the whole line profitable and the potential of long term law suites from a vehicle that is known to be unsafe as a passenger car dispute its massive size.

4. Yet there will still be the F250 and F350 etc.
The Excursion is the size of the F250 pic up truck. The Expedition is the size of the F150 and the Explorer is the size of the Ranger. The pickups get about the same mileage as the SUV's yet carry less people.

15. Even Consumer Reports thinks it's a piece of shit.
Hard to drive, noisy, prone to breakdown, eats gas like a school bus, rides like a dump truck, the list of shortcomings goes on and on.

8. I don't mind the smaller SUV's, but the Suburban and Excursion are
a bit big for most people. I can see a lot of use for them, but I know way too many stay at home moms who just had to have one to dwarf my minivan. As soon as I'm done with strollers we're back to a sedan.

16. What Is That The Insecursion?
Only an insecure and amoral short, fat, bald, dickless fuckwittage would purchase that trashmobile.

Oh right it's the GOP vehicle of choice. Sorry so sorry.
