1. CRAP poll
Ignore all Survey USA/Rasmussen polls. They are not scientific. It is a computer-generated poll.

I found out is a competitor - still uses computer to poll though.

2. Doesn't even state if the polls were registered or likely voters
I read through methodology and could not find it there either. This is a simple opinion poll.

4. Same polling coalition that Fox was using a couple of weeks ago
Their numbers were WAY skewed a couple of weeks ago. These results look even more ridiculous. I'd stick with the LA times and field rather than this Faux news supported propaganda.

5. Survey USA is not a good polling source
there polls are pretty unreliable (generally) and they have consistently had higher figures for both Arnold and the recall. No way Arnold leads by ten or the recall by nearly 2-1. I put more faith in the LA Times and Field polls.

6. Poll way off base.
The previous poll from this group a couple weeks ago showed a 16-point Arnie lead, and the one before that a 34-point lead! So, in light of this, the current 10-point lead is nothing! Regardless, the sampling method of "certain voter" is flawed. They're presuming a heavily GOP turnout. In any event, even according to the flawed poll, both the no on recall and yes on Bustamante positions are gaining.

8. Here's an article about it
from last year.

Some 13-year-old kid watching Terminator could answer the phone and be one of the "voters" questioned!

11. How Bad?
CA Governor Replacement

Bustamante (D)
29%
McClintock (R)
16%
Ueberroth (R)
6%
Huffington (I)
3%
Other

3%

Is this REALLY that bad? I mean, if we can assume that the percentage that is left out of these numbers are ALL Davis / No recall votes - than it might be fair to assume that a good portion of those people will do the whole no recall / yes bustamante thing - in order to short circuit the Republican overthrow.

Also, if Bustamante's numbers actually go no/yes - then there is a chance of the recall failing right?

12. This is the ONLY poll I've seen that has Arnold leading
The most recent one I saw had the recall rate in the mid fifties and Bustamante with a clear lead.

13. New FOX poll has Bustamante 32% Hulk 27%
Done after Ueberroth, whose votes seem about evenly distributed to the 3 main candidates.

14. Always vote like you're 10 points behind.
I don't believe this bogus poll.
Rasmussen was the worst in 2000.
He had Shrub winning by 6 or 7 points.

If the LA Times is lying it will only make sure Democrats get out the vote in CA. The Repukes couldn't beat Davis 10 months ago. Today they are fighting amonst themselves. The far right will not vote for Rnold and the moderates will not vote for McClintock. Most of them will just stay home if they think their guy can't win. I don't think Davis is going anywhere.

20. the numbers regarding the recall are much closer than that
but I am worried about Bustamonte's campaign

they're in mega damage control since it was reported, mistakenly I believe, that the campaign dropped the "No on Recall" part of his platform

but I received my absentee ballot yesterday and voted against the recall and for Bustamonte!
