As of Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at least 1,303 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. At least 1,019 died as a result of hostile action, the Defense Department said. The figures include three military civilians. snip

Since May 1, 2003, when President Bush declared that major combat operations in Iraq had ended, 1,165 U.S. military members have died, according to AP's count. That includes at least 910 deaths resulting from hostile action, according to the military's numbers.

1. Bushies don't want to know or have to care
As Babs Bush said "why mess up our beautiful minds with death".

I can't freakin believe Bush is in for another four years.

3. DAMN! We sure are hitting the each hundred mark quickly now

Did that make any sense? I hope you know what I mean... 1100 followed by 1200 very quickly, then 1300 soon after that. Before it was a slow drip of dead, now it is much faster.

RIP soldiers. I won't say, "But most of them voted for Bush". I don't know that to be true (living on an army base, I see a lot of discontent with Chimp). And I know that all you can hear over there is Rush and FAUX news, it is hard not to be brainwashed without other views. My husband is a lifelong liberal and he came back from Iraq with a very bad taste in his mouth for Kerry -- and this was late in the primaries -- he heard so much bullshit from the other side and there was no equal time for liberals. Even at that, most of the men he was with were so anti-Bush they spent their first few weeks home yelling for his impeachment.

Edit: missing word
