Bush expected to visit Germany in February
BERLIN - US President George W. Bush is expected to visit Germany and meet with Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder in late February 2005, a government spokesman said Thursday.

A government spokesman noted that Bush is be in Brussels on 22 February to meet with the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

"The federal government expects that the president will then also come to Germany," the spokesman said.

Schroeder's foreign policy advisor Bernd Muetzelburg is in Washington working out details to determine the venue and date of the visit by Bush, the spokesman said.

Great, what does he want? Top his record for the biggest police deployment in German history?

To visit the land his grandaddy helped to build.

Germany, I think you hear me....it's time to roll out the Chimp non-welcome wagon.

It's way too expensive providing armies of security for the dingbat. I'd tell him to come at his own risk and expense because I'm not going to pay for it!

18. I've been trying to bribe other governments for a long time...
to just KEEP his sorry ass wherever he lands. I've even offered to toss in Air Force One, in addition to the US$38.40 I'd saved up -- just to keep him there and give him a six-pack of Lone Star and a pretzel every so often. No takers.

I can only come to the conclusion that they don't want him, either. (That, or they're holding out for more money.)

7. Unfortunately the german people
won´t be allowed inside the city center.

This does not mean that they will not make their opinions heard though.

8. Oh I'm positive about that
We were pretty effective the last time around - should he show his ugly face in this city again we'll do one better.

The last time they had to completely shut down the city center around *'s Hotel.

11. Will he speak to the Berliners?

No, he'll slink from one well-guarded venue to another, escorted by massive security forces.

I'm sure that he will inspire crowds of Germans, however.

13. Can he be arrested for War Crimes in Belgium and Germany?
I think he could ?
Maybe we should petition the German govt.
Isn't it sad when people overseas protest against your morally corrupt leader and you don't?
I mean after the stunt he pulled on 11/2 one would have expected non stop demonstrations, sorry I forgot they only do that in former communist states.

14. Unfortunately, our people require dire consequences,...
,...before they develop an awareness and are thrust into action. Of course, approximately half our population is vulnerable to the psy-ops campaign waged against them,...for whatever reason. The corporate media screens anything that would disturb the "beautiful" American mind (including the mass death our leadership has waged against an innocent people).

If Germany is willing and able to put cuffs on Bush and march him to a prison for war crimes against humanity,...I would be amazed. It would take a organizing the world community against U.S. military threat to follow through on such an incredible phenomenon.

Quite amazing to fantasize about though *smile*.
