WA: 150 MORE ballots found today in King County
150 missing ballots found
By Keith Ervin
Seattle Times staff reporter

King County election officials found 150 more absentee ballots today that were mistakenly not counted in two previous vote counts but which are now expected to be included in the ongoing manual recount in the governor's race.

Added to 573 other ballots that were improperly rejected, up to 723 additional ballots may be counted in a county that has heavily favored Democrat Christine Gregoire over Republican Dino Rossi in this closest of close races.

... snip ...

Logan said at the time that he thought the computer records were in error and that a search for the ballot envelopes would show the votes had been counted. But when election officials looked for the envelopes last night, Logan said, "They were not where they were expected to be."

Looks like she's gonna win

8. Pierce County has reported
Rossi has made a net gain of 1 vote, making the spread 43 votes.

Repubs and Vance working hard to make sure they DON'T count every vote, or at least count them in a way that make Rossi the winner.

9. right now it's almost exactly as it was before the manual recount, but
there's still 2 counties left... after King county is done then Gregoire will pull ahead (King county is heavily democrat)

11. Yes... even though it benefits the democrats, it is still a very sad sight
to see our elections officers scrounging through warehouses looking for missing votes.

15. I just found 75,000 ballots in my garage
Geez, this is bordering on ridiculous. The people in charge of King County elections should be thrown in jail for malfeasance. I don't care who gains from these ballots, the whole process looks like a joke and the people will surely question the legitimacy of the winner.

17. All these votes shure BETTER be counted
And i don't want to hear from any naive Dem's who think now we might we win this one by the luck of the draw, obviously the fix was MUCH deeper than we thought, and until we have completely exposed just who fixed this and how, they remain in control, and certainly will end up winning the recount by a few votes again. We MUST fight for every single vote, and we must fight to find out exactly who was responsible for all this fraud, and bring them to Justice in an open court of law!
