Biden blames attack on Fallujah exiles
http://www.delawareonline.com/newsjournal/local/2004/12/22bidenblamesatta.html

<snip>

"My guess is they had some inside help on this one," said Biden, noting the attacks also involved considerable planning. The attackers apparently knew where the mess tent was and coordinated the attack to hit it as lunch was being served, he said.

<snip>

"We are paying a very heavy price, and will for sometime, for the fundamental mistakes we made in strategy," he said. "We went in with too little force, too little legitimacy and too little training . I know I'm sounding like a broken record on this."

Biden, who was in Iraq earlier this month on a fact-finding trip, said the situation is much worse than the Bush administration has admitted.

However, he said elections must go forward next month. To postpone them at this late date would invite almost certain collapse.

1. Legitimacy is lost (that is, if we ever had it)...
PNAC/BFEE is hoping they can "fix" the election so the only winners are their hand-picked goons (like Allawi). If this comes to pass, you can count on the insurgency EXPLODING to include 95% of the Iraqi population.

In other words - this war is lost...

2. "We went in...ILLEGALLY as a WAR OF AGGRESSION and INVADED
and OCCUPIED a SOVEREIGN NATION that had NEVER done anything to the USA, had NEVER threatened the USA, and was NOT threatening anyone, and proceeded to bomb the shit out of the country and the people, killing 100,000+ Iraqi men, women & kids. Mostly women and kids.

And to hold elections IN A BLOODY WAR is stupid and impossible to do legitimately. We need to GET OUT of Iraq, APOLOGIZE profusely and PAY through the nose to restore every bit of damage done by the USA."

Dear Biden, WHEN you say the above, THEN you'll be on the correct track.

3. "Almost certain collapse????" (Head Exploding!)
Lemme see do I grok this. Iraq was, like it or not, stable under Saddam. Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. 2/3 of Iraq was under aerial surveillance and control by foreign powers. Iraq posed no threat to the US or any of its neighbors.

Then, Puppet Boy had to get his war on--and bomb Iraq back to the Stone Age. There's effectively no electricity, no safe water, no adequate hospital and/or relief facilities, multiple thousands of innocent people are dead and an order of magnitude more injured, whole cities have been turned into smoking rubble, our Gubmint is pouring money down a rathole while children go hungry--and Biden is worried about an "almost certain collapse?!?!?!?"

Hell's BELLS, Joe! If this ain't already a collapse, it'll do til we GET ONE!

Verily, I grok not...

6. Apparently the base in Mosel is one of most secure in Iraq
if they can attack there they can attack anywhere.
Are the freedom fighters saving the Green Zone for Xmas?
