Loud explosion, gun shots in Baghdad
A loud explosion shook pre-dawn Baghdad today at 2:00am local time, followed by a succession of gunshots, an AFP reporter heard.

It was impossible to know the source of the blast or whether it had caused any damage in the city.

The US military said it was investigating the explosion.

Baghdad is regularly hit by bomb, rocket and mortar attacks.

9. No Justice , No Police!
Leftchick your posts/ pictures are the 'bomb'; they move my emotions.

Can you blame them for not wanting to return to Falluja; they'd be collaborating with the US.

thanks and blessings.

I appreciate your work.

12. Proud to be an American?
Not anymore. This war will piss so many people off that it will lead to the downfall of our country. They will bring this suffering into our cities, busses, and homes. That's what happens when you slaughter people like this.

14. you think so? *graphic*
the majority of AmeriKans have no clue we are dopping bombs, destroying cities and lives in Iraq. They believe we are brining them democracy! They will never see photos of dead and dying Iraqis. It will only be the mounting loss of our troops and perhaps a draft that will wake this country up.

Photos like this where the USA uses chemicals on innocents should be on the TV nightly for all of those 'pro-lifers' to see...

Gunmen kill doctor, professor in Baghdad

http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2004-12/22/content_2368491.htm

BAGHDAD, Dec. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Unknown gunmen assassinated an Iraqi doctor and a professor in Baghdad, witnesses told Xinhua Wednesday.

"Doctor Muneib al-Mulla Huwaish was killed yesterday afternoon in front of his clinic when unknown gunmen shot him before they ran away," Muhmoud al-Hazemi, a local resident in New Baghdad, a southeastern suburb of Baghdad, told Xinhua.

Al-Hazemi said another group of armed men gunned down professor Abdul-Aziz al-Hamdani who worked at al-Sharia (Islamic law) College affiliated to Baghdad University as he was with his wife in her own pharmacy.

"Unknown gunman entered the pharmacy, shot him dead and left the place," al-Hazemi said.

On Tuesday, another Iraqi nuclear scientist was gunned down by unknown assailants northeast of Baghdad, witnesses said.

Edited on Wed Dec-22-04 06:42 PM by Calico Jack Rackham
don't you know freedom is on the march? Damn you, Godless heathens. Haven't you heard the latest news that these are just ISOLATED incidents? 14 of Iraq's 18 provinces are completely secure and peaceful and every Iraqi has a picture of the glorious liberator, messiah George W. Bush(W stands for Whoop Ass) in their living rooms. You people better get in line and start watching some REAL news like FOX before you're all consumed by the hellfires.

PS Keep your stinkin' liberal hands off of my Jeezus.
