Residents who live nearby said they heard a series of explosions that reminded them of the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.

"It sounded to me like artillery," said John F. Moroz. " I heard sirens less than two minutes later and I thought, 'Oh, my God, 9/11 again."

Interstate 395 was shut down in both directions while the fire burned itself out, which took about three hours. Washington Boulevard, the site of the accident, remained closed through the morning rush hour.

1. It happens.
The traffic around there is enormous. There's always going to be such incidents.

That the they is not the "Terrorists" that they want us to believe it is....

:eyes:

Yep, that was the immediate thought that came to mind when I saw that on CNN late last night at 1AM.....I find intuition is something to listen to....

6. You know, it's funny...
Just last night there was a show on (Modern Marvels???) that talked about transporting hazardous waste. They showed us how the little dome on top of the cab houses the gps unit, and all sorts of other handy little tidbits. My husband said "Are they holding terrorism 101 here or what?" They were bragging about how safe the transport of dangerous things has become. Now this happens!

7. Yeah, between that & outgoing Sec. Tommy Thompson's comments about
losing sleep at night because of how "unsafe & vulnerable" our food supply is, I thought the very same thing - Terrorism 101 - "hey Terrorists - here's where we are vulnerable...come and get us!"

:freak:
