Iran Orders Military to Stand Ready: Fear of Attack on Nuclear Facilities
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 01:18 AM by henslee
TEHRAN, Dec 22: The Iranian military has been ordered to stand ready to defend the country's nuclear sites in case of attack, army chief General Mohammad Salimi said on Wednesday.

"The air force has been ordered to protect the nuclear sites, using all its power," Mr Salimi said, quoted by the government daily Iran. "The air force has temporarily suspended all its manoeuvres and focused its means on patrolling the sky," he added.

"All our forces including land forces, anti-aircraft, radar tactics ... are protecting the nuclear sites and an attack on them will not be simple," the general said.

1. Time will tell.
Is Bu$h crazy enough to attack Iran after the 'inauguration'?
Will the military stand for it? Will we give more big bucks for Israel to do it?
Are Murikuns ready for this?

5. Wait a min -- doe he still have the authority to declare war?
Please let it be No!

We simply don't have the troops, & Israel would be insane to attack anybody!

2. Iranians might be keeping tabs on U.S. vote counting
An air attack on Iran would be a great distraction, in the event the election fraud accusations start to get traction.

6. Maybe Bush Has Finally Outsourced His War-Mongering

I understand he has contracted with the poorest of the African countries for our future military needs. They "voluntarily enlist" for a year's period, earn $2,500 dollars a year, and salivate at the opportunity to join in democratic spreading of liberation. Of course there are no fringe benefits. Frugality is next to Godliness. The New American Way.
