BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S.-led forces in Iraq have captured a senior member of the al Qaeda-linked network led by Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in a raid in Baghdad, the Iraqi government said on Thursday.

It said Fadil Hussain Ahmed al-Kurdi was captured along with two other suspected insurgents. It said Kurdi, a 26-year-old Iraqi Kurd also known as Ridha, was the brother of Umar Baziyani, a Zarqawi lieutenant captured in May.

2. Yes - take people's minds away from Bush's abominable conduct
concerning the Tsunami.

By the way: A Kurd the aid of Zarqawi (whose existence is not proven anyhow)? Sounds strange.

4. And we are supposed to believe this?
Just like all those men in Getmo were supposed to be the really bad guys?

Turns out that most were sold to the Americans by Warlords in Afghanistan -- and many were innocent by-standers.

Unless this is confirmed by an unimpeachable source -- I'll place this story in the mythology column.

And since this news is from the military -- it is probably a lie.

5. Note: We take down one and his brother takes his place.
This could go on and on for a very long time.

6. Zarqawi, seems to have an aweful lot of senior aides...

Seems like one is caught every week now. This guy is just cranking them out.

Hmmm, smells like more bullshit to me. But what do I know, perhaps, Zarqawi is a master at loading his staff with middle management, you know, they are always the first to go around layoff time.
