WASHINGTON (AFP) - President George W. Bush (news - web sites)'s approval rate has slipped to 52 percent, down from 59 percent in late August and 71 percent in mid-April, a USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll out found.


The data reflect the US public's increasing concern about the economy and the situation in Iraq (news - web sites), pollsters said.


In general terms, 40 percent of those surveyed said they were satisfied with the current situation in the United States, down from 46 percent in early August the poll found.

I saw clips of him shaking hands with some of the same soldiers. The collective look at their expressions were mixed. I don't think that is a good sign for shrub.
