http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000080&sid=ayqcQtWiG7pE&refer=asiaGuess it only costs 150 million to keep Bush looking like a cheap, thoughtless idiot. That's not so much compared to what our country has had to spend to figure it out.

Look at it this way. Once these ships bring in water plants, doctors and such these people will be more for American ways than ever and that is what modern countries will do and in their own countries settings. The countries that have been hard hit. Changing way people think makes their govt. change. Look at what the world was when I was born in the 30's and look at the world now and the move to wards govt. of the people by them selfs. Just look at India. This is the way to go I am just sure on it.It is frankly the only thing I see Bush doing right and I am willing to bet he was pushed into it by some one from out side, because he changed his mind with in this last week for some reason. Who got to him at the ranch?

2. More for American ways? |

Japan's donating the $500 million without being publicly shamed into doing so...wouldn't the people be more for Japan's ways?
People aren't stupid (outside of the USA) about bush & the USA. They all know that bush began with an offer of $15 million.
bush was publicly forced into doing the right thing; the world won't see this as America doing right out of the goodness of our hearts.
Just another opportunity lost for America, thanks to bush.
