ARMS dealers are selling bombs, guns and tanks illegally at a controversial arms fair sponsored by the Ministry of Defence.

Dozens of the 1,000 companies touting for business at the exhibition are unlicensed.

Scotland Yard has issued a blistering rebuke to the Government and handed out warning letters to the illegal exhibitors.

But the Government has ignored police concerns over security and insisted no action be taken against companies breaking the law.

It means hundreds of arms dealers from around the world, including notoriously unscrupulous companies from unstable regions, have been allowed to ply their trade without even cursory checks on their credentials.

What possible excuse is there for our only real partner in fighting the evildoers to be facilitating it instead? Unless, of course, it is to the current UK government's benefit (& that of the current US and I suspect Israeli governments) that arms be proliferated. Gotta have a scarily armed enemy - it justifies our own scary level of arms worship. And you can't sufficiently scare the sheep with a color changing code alone.

This is the bfee's invisible enemy with invisible weapons strategy. That's really all 9*11 has been since it happened. But the arms must be sold, without interference of law, in the country now fighting a war because, they claimed, the enemy had illegal arms. Why is the irony always so thick with these murderous morons?
