2. USA to place tsunami aid on eBay
Americans love a good auction and, hence, will drive the price skyward.

Is it me or is this whole "help the tsunami victims" becoming a game of one-upmanship?

3. great!
Oneupmanship or not, if it helps those folks, I'm all for it. The principle problem now, however, is distribution rather than dollars.
This is one of those times when our military is being put to good use.

6. Nothing is official yet
So yeah, but considering the ongoing bid for an UN:SC seat, I tend to believe the report.

7. It was always going to be one-upmanship
from the $15 million moved to 35 when other contributions were much higher.
Does anyone have a link to that still photo showing the wall of water just before it hit land?
