COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites), who called on Americans this week to make a donation to help victims of the Asian tsunami, has contributed $10,000 himself, the White House said on Wednesday.

Bush, whose wealth is estimated at some $13 million, on Monday asked "every American to contribute as they are able to do so."

1. Well, good.
All Americans, especially those of means, should donate.

I commend his donation, but as president he is in a position to do a lot more good for a lot more people by changing American foriegn policies.

2. Wonder what Rush will say about this
He was trashing Sandra Bullock saying she could afford to give more. (Wonder how much Rush put up.)

I'm glad he donated something, but considering his big party is costing close to 40 million, the 10,000 doesn't seem like much to me.
