Maryland Republicans move to sever ties with Hispanic caucus
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP)

The Maryland Republican Party moved Saturday to sever its ties with the Maryland Hispanic Republican Caucus after the caucus chairman criticized Gov. Robert Ehrlich for not appointing Hispanics to high- level jobs.

The party's executive committee voted 20-1 with two abstentions to recommend that the state central committee rescind a resolution recognizing the caucus as an affiliate of the state party. It also voted to create a new organization to reach out to Hispanic voters. ---

Two-thirds of the members of the state central committee, which meets in November, will have to approve the executive committee's recommendations for them to become effective. If they are approved, the caucus will not be able to use the elephant as a symbol or use the word ``Republican'' in its title, Kane said.

Don't criticize. Don't ask questions. And just tell those little brown people to shut up and do what we tell them!

Too late.

Maybe that's why the Republican symbol is the elephant?

9. Like Hispanics in one state don't know Hispanics in another state.
Like speaking Spanish means you don't know how to use the Internet or get the word out.

They spoke up for themselves and got banned?

Oh, good work with the most rapidly increasing population in America.

Well, if you got electronic voting machines, what else do you need?

Seems to me they've decided they're not gonna get the Hispanic vote, and they're looking to make non-persons of them.

As for the Republican Hispanic Caucus: Lie down with rabid dogs, get up with an incurable disease.
