America set to torpedo trade talks
Edited on Sat Sep-13-03 08:33 PM by mediaman007
Here we go again. It is amazing to me that this administration can survive its bullying behavior to the rest of the world:

Fears are growing that the United States could effectively walk away from crucial trade talks in the Mexican resort of Cancun aimed at solving the deepening economic and social crisis afflicting billions of the world's poorest people...A high level source in the UK delegation told The Observer said: 'It's difficult to know what the Americans want. They're staying in their hotel. They're behaving like the Soviet Union in the Eighties. It's making it difficult to know what they want.'

(sorry)

This group is dysfunctional.

1. Not suprising
The Junta has walked away from just about every international commitment (treaty) that they've gotten involved with. They don't want no stinkin' furners telling them what to do...

I'm sure that our allies will remember these incidents when it comes time for them to "step up to the plate" as it were, in Iraq...
