U.S. Iraq Policy Frustrates Mideast States - Kerry

CAIRO (Reuters) - Middle East countries are frustrated by U.S. policy in Iraq and feel too little is being done to end violence there, U.S. Senator John Kerry said on Wednesday on a visit to the region.
Kerry repeatedly criticized the Bush administration's Iraq policy during his failed bid to win the U.S. presidency from George W. Bush, who led the invasion to topple Saddam Hussein.

"All of the countries of the region have a significant stake in the outcome and yet they are frustrated," Kerry said in Cairo, where he met Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

"They are frustrated because they don't feel that the steps necessary to be able to advance the stability of Iraq are really being taken," he said.

1. .
"U.S. and Iraqi officials should take full advantage of an Egyptian offer to help train Iraqi security forces, he added. Egypt was currently training 146 Iraqi officers, but had offered to train 500 or more, he said.

"They offered to do so. It isn't happening and in the insecurity of Iraq I think it's critical to use every possible avenue of creation of stability forces as fast as possible," Kerry said."

2. The only steps being taken at the moment
are to spend millions on the Inauguration, confirming a torturer as AG, tax cuts for the wealthy, destroying SS along with the environment. And that's just to name a few things...

3. "No kidding, John!"
And did you ask them about what they thought about your support for Bush's Iraq War?

Kerry is Clueless about the real world. He needs to stop living in his delusions of grandeur.

5. Not so fast, my friend.
Kerry is making a lot of sense and saying things that no one wants to hear about the Middle East and U.S. Policy (such as it is) there.

Saying he is "Clueless about the real world" is really pretty clueless. On the contrary, he is trying to expose what the PNAC Neocon media will not -- the war and the internal scuttling of the nation by the Neocons.

6. Al Gore already beat Kerry to it
Remember Gore's speech in Sep 2002 against the IWR that Kerry voted for. Kerry also supports Ariel Sharon's apartheid policies against the Palestinians and that is another sore spot with Arabs and Muslims.
